The Nikon SB-28 is a very reliable, powerful, and well made speedlight flash design for the more modern auto-focus cameras of the 90s. It does eat batteries – so be warned, carry a bag full.

Sunpak DF4000U Flash Unit
The DF4000U is a flash unit made to be compatible with both Nikon and Canon flash shoe mounts. This is one of our main units to use as the provided diffuser and bounce cards work very well. The power zoom that automatically adjusts is a very useful feature as well. Some specs from ToCAD.
